Reporting an error in the data
This is the email we most want to receive. Please include:
- The page URL.
- The figure you believe is wrong and what it should be.
- Where you checked it, if you have a source.
- Roughly when you saw it — several dashboards update by the minute.
We verify against the upstream source and, if the error is ours, fix it and note the correction. Our methodology page documents how each number is derived, which is usually the fastest way to identify where a discrepancy comes from.
What we cannot help with
- Exchange account problems. We have no relationship with any exchange's support team and no access to any account. Contact the exchange directly.
- Recovering lost or stolen funds. We cannot assist, and anyone who contacts you claiming they can — including anyone claiming to be us — is running a recovery scam.
- Investment advice. We are not licensed to give it and will not give it informally either.
Press and data use
You are welcome to cite our charts and figures with a link back to the relevant page. If you need a specific dataset, a higher-resolution chart or a comment on methodology, email us and say what you need it for.
A note on security
We will never email you first asking for a seed phrase, a private key, an exchange password or a two-factor code. Nobody legitimate ever will. If you receive a message claiming to be from CryptoData.today that asks for any of those things, it is not from us.
